Mystery Blogger Offers Great Tips for Wireless Expense Management

The luxury of owning and operating a mobile device comes with the responsibility of a monthly wireless bill. And for businesses that provide company devices for their employees, the undertaking of managing wireless expenses can become quite the task.
If you’re looking for advice on the best ways to manage your wireless costs, a new blog has recently hit the Web and is providing the telecom community with excellent insight into wireless expense management. There’s only one catch: We’re not exactly sure who’s writing it.
The author’s name, Xavier Monet, is obviously a pseudonym. Just say it out loud and you’ll hear that it’s a pun for “save your money.” But the guy (if it is, in fact, a guy) clearly knows wireless. And he also knows what it takes to cut your wireless bill.
The blog entitled, “The Wireless Miser,” is being hosted by WEM-as-a-service solutions provider and Product of the Year winner OneCall Global; however, the company is staying mum about who its mystery blogger is. But one thing OneCall has hinted at is that Monet’s career in telecom may go all the way back to AT&T (News – Alert) in the pre-breakup days. The company also says this person has been widely published under his or her own name—but prefers to do this particular blog under a pseudonym.
So what gives? With the blogger’s extensive wireless management knowledge and experience in the telecommunications industry, why would he choose to remain under wraps? Apparently, OneCall Global and the blogger have formed a mutual relationship exchanging advice on how to manage wireless costs and are respectful of his wishes to remain covert.
“We were talking to ‘Xavier’ about the challenges companies face as they struggle to keep their wireless costs under control,” said OneCall Global President Céline Greffard. “The next thing we knew, he was sending us blog entries and asking us to host them for him anonymously.”
Monet’s blog provides an email address and invites readers to send feedback, ask questions and share their own WEM experiences. So check it out and please tell us if you think you know who this mystery blogger is. We’re dying to know ourselves!
